Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in its modern view was established in 1991 and is a successor of a first educational institution on the territory of modern Ukraine from 1615 till 1817 whose graduates were prominent Ukrainian scientists and activists.
Nowadays, the Academy is a place for getting knowledge for more than 3000 thousand students who are supervised by more than 500 professors with 260 PhDs and 105 D.sc. among of them.
The Academy has 4-year bachelor and 2-year master programs at six faculties: Law; Economics; Humanities; Social Science, Information Technologies; MBA with twenty eight departments.
Apart from that, the Academy can offer its applicants and English taught bachelor program of Health care management.
Kyiv-Mohyla Academy has numerous partners among foreign higher educational institutions. There are some joint master programs with German, Georgian and Poland universities. The Academy has also become a co-founder of several educational organizations - CIVITAS International, Artes Liberales, Network of universities of Black Sea region, Consortium of Central-Eastern universities.
Every summer the Academy conducts courses about Ukrainian language and history for foreign students.
Its campus is situated in the historical part of Kyiv and at the same time center of the city – Podil district.
